A maker and painter exploring and reinterpreting the portrayal of masculinity from Art History and as told in the myths and stories that we tell ourselves.  My work takes in characters and tales from Greek, Mesopotamian, and related myth cycles and how they are used to reinforce or disrupt ideas of expectations and role of the male in society and the world.  My work is figurative, with the nude male form as its essential and timeless centre.
